How Success Killed Duke Nukem

On the last day, they gathered for a group photo. They were videogame programmers, artists, level builders, artificial-intelligence experts. Their team was — finally — giving up, declaring defeat, and disbanding. http://www.wired.com/magazine/2009/12/fail_duke_nukem/
It’s been nearly four years since Square Enix first introduced the world to Final Fantasy XIII, and now players will finally get to enter the world of Pulse on March 9th. Hyped as one of the key titles to Sony’s strategy for the PlayStation 3, Square Enix dropped a bomb at E3 2008 with the announcement that Final Fantasy XIII would be coming to the Xbox 360 as well, on the same day and date. Now it’s almost time to dive into the never-ending Final Fantasy on the hardware of your choice, so let us guide you through the best bits of XIII. The first public showing of Final Fantasy XIII saw a female hero named Lightning taking on a group of soldiers in a corridor. The interface and action suggested the title would be unlike any Final Fantasy title before it. Square Enix also announced the title would be part of a new series entitled Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII. http://www.gametrailers.com/launch/final-fantasy-xiii/

Silent Hill On PSN?

http://www.theplaystationetwork.com/silent-hill-on-psn/ Rumor has it that Silent Hill is on the way to the PlayStation Store. The BBFC have recently rated the game again, which has lead to the rumors that it’ll appear as a classic title in the near future. I know a lot of people who would love to play that game again, especially on the PSP and hopefully this’ll be the start of a wave of great classic titles.
