UPDATE: A new extension has now surfaced that adds a lot of cool features. Better Music Beta for Google (I assume this is a tip of the hat to Better Gmail, Better YouTube etc.) has come on the scene offering not only scrobbling but also controls from the extension bar area, ability to “love” songs on last.fm, the Google Music thumbs up and thumbs down, Desktop notifications and more. Check it out here . Thanks to Derek for the tip! Besides the pain of waiting for an invite from Music by Google, one item that I was very interested in was how quickly scrobbling support would be added for the service.
