Zum letzten Mal fand unter der Ägide der Bertelsmann Stiftung Ende November in Berlin eine große Konferenz zur Marktplatz-Methode statt. Ca. 75 Kooperationsmanager und Marktplatz-Organisatoren diskutierten dort im Anschluss an die Übergabe der Auszeichnung im Wettbewerb „Land der Ideen“ über die Effekte und Wirkungen der Marktplatz-Methode. Drei wichtige Learnings stellten die Teilnehmer im Blick auf die Wirkungen „Guter Geschäfte“ besonders heraus: Die Marktplatz-Methode kann gemeinnützige Organisationen aus eingefahrenen Wegen des eigenen Handelns und den damit verbundenen Selbstverständlichkeiten herausführen.
Auf längere Sicht haben sie die Chance, sich eine unternehmerische(re) Weltsicht zu erarbeiten. Mit dieser Sichtweise können sie dann neue, produktive Kooperationen erschließen. Insgesamt fällt das Resümee der Bertelsmann Stiftung zu diesem Projekt überaus positiv aus: Seit 2007 haben an ca. 60 Standorten über 125 Marktplatzplätze in Deutschland und Österreich stattgefunden.

From February 25th to March 1st, we ran Trade School at GrandOpening in the Lower East Side. How did we do it the first time? Everyone contributed time and materials to support a community that values cooperation over competition. What do we need to do it again? Starting in September, 2010, we want to open Trade School again. What is Trade School about?
