Canon EOS Photo5 : Home. Creative Dad Takes Crazy Photos Of Daughters. If you are tired of posed, stiff and cheesy family portraits, then take a look at these incredibly creative pictures taken by Jason Lee. Jason who is a wedding photographer started taking photos of his two little daughters back in 2006 when his mom was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. The girls were constantly sick, with colds and coughs so he couldn’t always bring them to visit their grandmother.

Jason wanted her to be able to see her granddaughters without catching their kid germs so he started a blog where his mom could see what was going on in their lives. Most of the ideas come from his daughters – eight-year-old Kristin and five-year-old Kayla. Jason says that they are never-ending source of ideas. We captured some fantastic reflections in our outdoor portraits of Stina, giving flattering results and vibrant colours. And the beauty of this is that all of this is possible on the streets of your nearest town or city center. So get out there! Finding mirrored objects You can find reflective surfaces for your outdoor portraits in a surprising number of places. An obvious choice for us on our day out shooting a reflective portrait in Bristol was this giant mirror ball at the At-Bristol complex. The reflection is small enough to add interest but doesn’t distract from the main pose. Large glass areas We came across this huge expanse of glass that was perfect for full-length portraits.

Speaking of creativity, design and color, there's another medium we turn to for inspiration on a daily basis: the art of the photo series. Some photo series take years and years to create, some a month, and some just a day. There's a reason the well-propped and decorated photo booth has became standard at weddings and events of all kinds. It's basically a photo series!
