The curriculum associated with Old Dominion University's Ph.D. in Education, concentration in Occupational and Technical Studies, is intended to accomplish the following learning outcomes: Every individual who completes this doctoral program, regardless of his/her concentration emphasis, will develop competencies for understanding and using qualitative and quantitative research methods and multivariate statistics to make data-based decisions. Each concentration emphasis will offer courses that enable graduates to know and apply their knowledge in today's complex educational environments and emerge as leaders in their chosen careers.
