One of America's truly great cities, Pittsburgh has the National Aviary, a prestigious theatre district, professional baseball, football, and hockey teams, festivals for the arts and ethnic celebrations, and many breathtaking churches. There is always something worth doing in Pittsburgh. Closer to home, Steubenville boasts a life-size reproduction of Fort Steuben, an early post-Revolution army outpost in the Northwest Territories, and many large outdoor murals throughout the city that tell the story of Steubenville and the Ohio Valley region. Directions by Air Commercial Flights: Pittsburgh International Airport is an easy 30 minute drive away for those flying commercial (driving directions below).

I graduated in 2011, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts (Multimedia) and Business Administration (Marketing). As a student, I balanced my academics with being actively involved in household and residence life, intramural sports, Missions of Peace, and various music ministries. I am originally from Southern California and heard of Franciscan University by attending the Steubenville San Diego youth conference four years in a row before going to Steubenville West for another two years. After planning on studying architecture at a top school in California, I finally visited Franciscan, felt the call to come, and never regretted it!
