It is not science. In order to talk to each other, we have to have words and that's all right. To make my point still clearer, I shall pick out a certain science book to criticize unfavorably, which is unfair, because I am sure that with little ingenuity, I can find equally unfavorable things to say about others. There is a first-grade science book that, in the first lesson of the first grade, begins in an unfortunate manner to teach science, because it starts off on the wrong idea of what science is.

I thought at first the authors getting ready to tell what science was going to be about: physics, biology, and chemistry. Now energy is a very subtle concept. Look at it this way. I went to MIT. I said, "That's right. " "Yes. " Constructivism as a Paradigm for Teaching and Learning. What is constructivism? How does this theory differ from traditional ideas about teaching and learning? What are some critical perspectives? What are the benefits of constructivism? What is constructivism? Constructivism is basically a theory -- based on observation and scientific study -- about how people learn. In the classroom, the constructivist view of learning can point towards a number of different teaching practices. Constructivist teachers encourage students to constantly assess how the activity is helping them gain understanding.

You might look at it as a spiral. For example: Groups of students in a science class are discussing a problem in physics. Contrary to criticisms by some (conservative/traditional) educators, constructivism does not dismiss the active role of the teacher or the value of expert knowledge. Bloom's Digital Taxonomy.
