Boden Boulevard Necklace Knockoff. Did you know Mother’s Day is about a week and half away?? Eek!! I don’t know about you but I’m scrambling a bit here. ;) So I thought I’d help you out. Actually, Melissa and I are helping you out. :) Melissa sent in a Tutorial Request for a darling Boden Necklace – and I knew that it would be perfect for a Mother’s Day idea. Or a “I’m going to make that myself for Mother’s Day” idea. ;) Here is my version of the prettiness - And here is the Boden version – with a crazy retail value of $78 - I like the navy they used but I went for a more neutral color scheme. This necklace is super easy!! Here’s what you’ll need to make it: twill or other ribbon (approx 50″) large link chain (you’ll need a piece about 13″ long) bead assortment – enough for 5 13″ strands beading cord crimp beads (10) (All supplies came from Michael’s) :) Start by weaving your twill piece through the links of the chain.

I’m onto my second already. The pattern is from Meet Me At Mike’s and the tutorial is perfect us crochet rookies. Admittedly, I had to restart each blanket about three times each. Obviously I’d miscounted somewhere but it didn’t show until I finished the second row. Once you get past those two first rows, you’ll be away laughing. In-seam pockets are sewn right into the side seams of a dress or skirt and are practically invisible when done well.
There’s nothing like a handy pocket on your favourite dress and these are seriously some of the easiest pockets to make. It’s so nice to get my sewing ideas written down like this! The top picture was the biggest quilt in the hall what was placed at the entrance.
And also, there were big balloons at the entrance. Here are some quilt I liked. Beautiful red. Quilted plants. Beautiful white quilt. Delicate. Lots of Kimono girls. Quilt dresses. Grand prize of Machine quilt. I also made a little rabbit doll at a class, and met an Australian woman. In the way to my home, I saw this big christmas tree. And I met these four cats. When I came back home, I soon opened items what I got in the event. This was old Yukata(Summer Kimono).
I fell love in this flower print. And I got these twinkle zippers. I also got this fabric roll for Yukata. Have a good Friday and weekend !!!!
