A QUR’ANIC MIRACLE IN 3 LETTERS. Among the real mysteries of the Holy Qur’an are those seemingly random letters found at the forefront of about one quarter of the chapters of the Qur’an.
That being said, has the age arrived where we finally discover at least some of the secrets behind these ‘special’ letters? Can the language of numbers reveal some of their marvels? Although scholars have never been able to fully explain the meaning behind these letters, most have appropriately given their opinion on the matter by saying, “God knows best!”. Indeed, they did not discourage reflecting upon these letters and researching them. And as such, we have undertaken a detailed study into the arrangement and repetition of these mystifying letters, only to discover that underlying them is a most profound miracle of numbers.

Al-Fatihah is a prayer, a dialogue between the abd (slave) and his Rabb, the Creator of everything. Surah al-Fatihah, known in Arabic as as-sab al-mathani, i.e. “the seven repeatedly recited ayaat” is a short yet comprehensive surah. In its seven ayaat it encompasses all the themes of the Quran. Beginning Surah al-Fatihah The Surah opens up with basmalah, the saying that must be recited before beginning any work. This is a sunnah that our beloved Prophet sallAllahu aalyhi wa sallam taught us. Ayah 2: Learning the Etiquette of Du’a After invoking the graciousness and mercy of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala we utter a few words in His praise.
In ayah two, we learn the etiquette of making du’a. We beautify our du’a by saying, Alhamdu lillahi rabbi lAAlameen which means: All praises and thanks (be) to Allah, (the) Lord (of all) the world. Ayahs 3 and 4: Stating the Attributes This is an important aspect. Dr. An-Nawawi's 40 Hadith. Narrated: Aisha that the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, said: "Whosoever introduces into this affair of ours (i.e. into Islam) something that does not belong to it, it is to be rejected.
" [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] According to the version in Muslim, (it reads): "Whosoever works a work which has for it no command of ours is to be rejected. " Commentary Background Like Hadith 1, this hadith is one of the most important hadiths. Imam Nawawi said it should be memorised by every Muslim. This hadith is used as a criterion for judging external actions or performance of Ibadah. I. Apart from Hadith 1 and Hadith 5, the acceptance of actions can also be found in Surah Al- Kahf (18): ayat 110: Whoever looks forward to meeting his Sustainer (on Day of Judgement), let him do righteous deeds, and let him not ascribe unto anyone or anything a share in the worship due to his Sustainer.
