Rebecca Rose Schwartz. Dedicated to Rebecca Rose Schwartz (June 3, 1968 - February 11, 2002) I composed this song when Rebecca and I were living together.

Rebecca Rose Schwartz

We were so much inlove. Rebecca spent the whole day in the studio while I was recording, giving me helpful advice. Little did I know that the lyrics and performance would have so much meaning in her passing. Overcome Soft and tinder, I'll always remember your hand on my face Like a ray of sunshine your smile got me through a many cloudy days And I can almost see, your eyes staring down on me To help me overcome, oh yeah, Overcome I guess I'll never know the answer, till my last exhale Why did you have to go and leave me, by myself What am I suppose to do, when my heart and soul is missing you, To help me overcome Overcome There was so much more I wanted to say, yet my only chance had been taken away, Visit me every once in a while in my dreams, dreams, and help me overcome I've got to overcome Overcome (Let me hear you one more time)

The Notorious B.I.G. Christopher George Latore Wallace (May 21, 1972 – March 9, 1997), better known by his stage names The Notorious B.I.G., Biggie or Biggie Smalls,[2] was an American rapper.

The Notorious B.I.G.

Wallace was raised in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. When he released his debut album Ready to Die in 1994, he became a central figure in the East Coast hip hop scene and increased New York's visibility in the genre at a time when West Coast hip hop was dominant in the mainstream.[3] The following year, Wallace led his childhood friends to chart success through his protégé group, Junior M.A.F.I.A. While recording his second album, Wallace was heavily involved in the growing East Coast/West Coast hip hop feud. On March 9, 1997, Wallace was killed by an unknown assailant in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles. §Biography[edit] §Early life[edit] James Yancey was the oldest of four children including a sister (Martha) and two brothers, Earl and John, who later began doing music as Illa J. The family lived at a corner house near McDougall and Nevada, on the east side of Detroit.[4] He developed a vast musical knowledge from his parents (his mother is a former opera singer and his father was a jazz bassist). According to his mother, he could "match pitch perfect harmony" by "two-months old", to the amazement of musician friends and relatives.[5] He began collecting vinyl at the age of two and would be allowed to spin records in the park, an activity he enjoyed tremendously as a child.[5] Along with a wide range of musical genres, Yancey developed a passion for hip hop music. §Early career[edit] "It was kinda fucked up [getting that stamp] because people automatically put us in that [Tribe] category.
