Your Guide to Information Services A printed copy of the Getting Started quick guide which is a short leaflet to provide you with support for Email, Wireless and IT Laboratories is available from the Information Point within our Libraries. You can also view an extended online booklet which includes information on Library, ICT and Reprographic services that are available to all students. The online guide is in standard PDF format. NIPR – Launch of New Website April 15, 2014 at 3:43 pm, by Gerard McFall NIPR – the National Collection of Northern Ireland Publications – has recently launched its new website.

NIPR aims to “identify, collect, preserve and make available for consultation every book, pamphlet, periodical and report published in Northern Ireland since January 2000″. There is a searchable catalogue to help find particular local publications of interest. We are running sessions on Developing Information Skills for Effective Research as part of the Research Graduate Programme which you are encouraged to attend, but as these classes are generic in nature, you are also strongly advised to make an appointment with your subject librarian for more in-depth, tailored information specifically targeted to your own research area.
