Volunteer « The Monkey Sanctuary

Many people who visit or read about the Sanctuary are interested in learning more about the monkeys and about the people who take care of them. Volunteering at the Sanctuary is a great way of doing this. Wild Futures’ Monkey Sanctuary hosts up to 10 volunteers at a time in shared accommodation in our Sanctuary house, all year round. Short-term placements run from 2-6 weeks, and long-term for up to 3 months. No qualifications are needed. The Monkey Sanctuary is visited by thirty thousand people every year. For many volunteers their time at the Sanctuary is their first experience of communal living.

Tunstead International Farm Camp

For manual harvesting work (fruit picking) you do not need to have experience, but you should understand that this is physically demanding work and involves bending and lifting. You will be expected to pick to targets to maintain your employment. Harvesting usually operates daily and the number of hours offered per day is variable. Most of our participants have a very rewarding experience, enjoy the hard work and the money they earn, whilst meeting and making new friends from different countries. Get Paid - The Minimum Wage in England is £6.31 per hour. Picking fruit is based on piece rates. The more you pick the more you earn.
