Des carreaux de ciment su sol, des carreaux de métro dans la mini salle de bain au style industriel, une cuisine petite mais très fonctionnelle et un choix de couleurs dans les tons gris très actuels…il n’en fallait pas moins pour donner à ce petit espace tout ce dont il avait besoin pour permettre à Juliette de profiter de son petit chez-elle en toute quiétude ! Ik heb zondag een heerlijke moederdag gehad, lekker ontbeten aan een gezellig gedekte tafel, mooie kadootjes gekregen en ... eigenlijk het leukst, mooie tekeningen :-) Natuurlijk ben ik, net als alle andere moeders, trots op al mijn kids. Maar vandaag even een speciale post over de tekeningen van dochterlief Loïs, bijna 10 wordt ze. We hebben èèn meisje tussen drie jongens, ze wordt daar niet jongensachtiger van integendeel, het is een echt meisje meisje :-) Ze draagt het liefst zwierige rokjes, loopt het liefst op haar gouden spaanse hakke schoentjes ( hoewel ze nu echt te klein aan't worden zijn ) en ze knutselt ook ontzettend graag.
Op maandag doe ik altijd de bovenboel en met haar kamer ben ik altijd een uur bezig, ze verzamelt van alles, knipt in bed van alles uit en regelmatig zitten er grote stiftvlekken in d'r hoeslaken. Eens in de zoveel tijd trek ik ten strijde in haar kamer met een grote vuilniszak en die is echt gewoon VOL. Check ook even die pronte voorgevels van de dames hahaha. I’m tellin’ ya people, we can take pastels from Oy vey to Oh yay in mere seconds – take a look… This is a very lively mix – a real party girl combo using sugar sweet pastels and punctuating them with clever color accents that are bold and risky. If you’re a bit bored with neon pink, opt for neon orange because that looks quite gorgeous when placed in a pastel playground. Ok, so we're slowly settling down, internet is connected, the year is getting into its groove, and we are starting to feel like Sydney is really becoming home. The weather is certainly also doing its part in welcoming us, with mostly beautifully sun-kissed days and scrumptious ocean views... no complaining here. So with that in mind I'm so excited to be looking at ideas to sass up our Sydney home. We have news that our boxes have arrived in Oz and they are currently at the mercy of the Australian customs officers.... oooooh, hope all goes well. I'm dying to see my beautiful, big, red lamp and our ever-inspiring hard-cover design books. Once all arrives in order we're going to roll the sleeves back, get down to some dirty and fun apartment designing and of course, share it with you right here on Nest of Pearls .
