Pyramind’s newly renovated Studio A now features an 11.2 Meyer Cinema Surround System made up of three Acheron Studio Screen Channel Loudspeakers, eight Meyer Sound HMS-10 cinema surround loudspeakers, two Meyer Sound x-800C high-power cinema subwoofers and two Galileo 408 loudspeaker management systems. The Studio A Meyer Sound System installation was done by Dennis P. Stearns. The Meyer Sound System and Studio A mix room was tuned by Bob Hodas for stereo, 5.1 and 7.1 DTS and Dolby Digital surround.

To apply to be accepted into the degree, the student must submit a portfolio of his/her works (three scores and three recordings) and a performance audition with his/her instrument.
