Urban Terror Docs : Game Manual : Weapons. A | Load out information Depending on how you load your character, you will be able to use a single or multiple items on our weapons. The "Attachments" are what you can use with the specific weapon: LS - Laser Sight and S - Silencer. Not all weapons can use these specialty items. For example, the sniper rifles cannot use the laser sight because of their ability to zoom. The Desert Eagle and the SR-8 are not able to use the silencer. You can choose up to three items, depending on how many weapons you have chosen to equip yourself with, and whether or not you have grenades. The combinations of weapons, items and grenades are: • 2 weapons, a sidearm, grenades and 1 item • 2 weapons, a sidearm, 2 items • 1 weapon, a sidearm, 3 items • 1 weapon, a sidearm, grenades, 2 items Note: you must carry a sidearm and knives.

SmallPileofGibs UnRegistered posted 06-20-2000 03:26 PM Hint brushes are difficult to explain without giving some examples. The problem with examples is that they don't always make the basic rules clear enough =). I'll try to explain though. To understand the use of hints you need to know what you're aiming to do with them . The aim is: to make existing vis-blockers work to their full effect. "vis-blocker" (visibility blocker) is a name given to a wall that blocks sight of one part of the level from the part the player is standing in. The above is a simplified analogy of the technology, but it's pretty accurate for very simple maps (box rooms, corridors, no other brushes).
A common misconception is that hints work by cutting up the walls, and that you can see where a hint is placed by the way the wall is split. I posted this simplified explanation of the way VIS works in another thread - here it is again: (If you want the complex terms, read ) Double Browser. Urban Terror News.
