The only rule of this week-long series is that each title was released between 2000 and today. Now that we're at the end of not only 2009 but the first decade of the 21st century, we here at Japanator thought that there's no better way to celebrate than with a list. In this case, we're counting down the top fifty anime titles of the past ten years, as voted on by the staff. A mix of personal preferences and earth-shattering titles, we invite you to come and discuss with us which series you believe are the most important, which ones we got utterly wrong (because you're list is right) and take a guess at what the staff voted on.
