Australian Curriculum
To make our curriculum and assessment products more accessible to classroom teachers, QSA has made some changes to the way the Australian Curriculum material is being presented on our website. The main change is to the presentation of our curriculum and assessment products for Prep (P) to Year 10. The History learning area is the first to be presented in a new, fully integrated and teacher-friendly format. This new format makes it easy for visitors to navigate the resources for a particular learning area or year level, integrating the curriculum content and achievement standards, and assessment and reporting advice, guidelines and resources. In addition, the new format clearly shows what is mandatory for implementation in schools (the Australian Curriculum content and achievement standards). By Term 2 in 2013, visitors will be able to access the existing English, Mathematics and Science curriculum and assessment resources in this new format.
