Grilled Cheese Rolls ~ A Fun Spin on an American Classic! A fun spin on an American Classic... ...Dip these simple Grilled Cheese Rolls in a bowl of piping hot tomato soup or ramekin of your favorite marinara ~ and I dare you ~ I dare you to eat just one! All you'll have to do is... cut the crusts off your bread, here I used a soft wheat. Flatten your crustless bread squares with a rolling pin and then top with one piece of American Cheese (do not be tempted to use more cheese, in this case one is enough) Here I used fresh, deli sliced, Land O'Lakes yellow American Cheese - YUM! Roll your cheese squares up and then cook them in a pan with melted butter over medium heat (SEAM SIDE DOWN FIRST TO SECURE THEM) (rolling occasionally in the buttered pan to crisp all sides) until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.

Remove from the pan and your Grilled Cheese Rolls are ready to enjoy! Pin It. Real Women of Philadelphia. Chicken & Asparagus Penne - GOODEness Gracious. Dear Reader, I must confess… I totally heart pasta… macaroni, spaghetti, penne, angel hair, fettuccine… you name it, I love it. That is why I adore Smart Taste pasta that takes my typical carb splurge and gives me the fiber of whole wheat pasta with the taste of white pasta.

So, when I saw this recipe for Chicken and Bowties in the Oodles of Noodles section of Gooseberry Patch’s Meals in Minutes, I knew I had to give it a try. Psst… have you entered to win a copy yet? I tweaked the steps in this recipe… to make it even more time-saving. I popped a couple of the steamable bags of Asparagus spears from Birds Eye’s Steamfresh line in the microwave. Meanwhile, I boiled up a box (12 oz) of Smart Taste Penne (Smart Taste doesn’t come in Bowties at my store). I also got to cookin’ up 1lb of chicken breast in a non-stick skillet seasoned with a little Lawry’s. Take the asparagus and place in the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Add your pasta Drizzle with 1/4 cup of olive oil Another keeper!

Ingredients Notes. Healthy Turkey Tacos. Tacos were pretty much an every-week staple at my elementary school growing up. And I remember this being a crazy popular lunch day but I don’t remember eating them at school. In hindsight, my brother and I were lucky kids; our mom was a work-at-home mom (almost unheard of in the 80s) and she had the ability to be there every morning to make our lunches. Once a week, she gave us money to buy lunch at school and I picked carefully: either deli day (Thursdays) or pizza day (Fridays, naturally). I don’t think my mom was ever exposed to tacos and refried beans until we were at a Girl Scout jamboree camping trip circa 1988 so until then, we never ate them at home either. In our house now, you’ll see tacos show up on our menu at least twice a month and while Kyle and I love to make them traditionally with my homemade taco seasoning, we’re not against trying other varieties either.

Cheesecake Factory Shrimp Scampi Recipe - Food.com - 280067. Lasagna Cupcakes. I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted. As much as I like staring at Oreos engulfed in peanut butter cookies, I’m sick of staring at those things. But since it’s been almost two weeks since I’ve posted, I feel like I need to break the silence. It’s a little awkward. Like running into someone you went on a date with two weeks ago and haven’t talked to since the date. So hi, I’m here. I’ve been in a major food funk lately. All I want to eat is peanut butter. It’s not like I haven’t been cooking. So to make up for my silence and guarantee we have second date, I’m sharing one of my most popular recipes over at Tablespoon, Lasagna Cupcakes, until I make something worthy to make the blog.

These Lasagna Cupcakes have all of the classic lasagna elements with layers of meat, three types of cheeses, and pasta. I don’t know about your family, but in my family when we eat lasagna, we all fight over the corners of the pan because of the crispy and chewy texture. Fisher Nutty Bacon Cheese Ball.
