Leicestershire and Warwickshire VW Owners Club - Club Information. Quiet Waters Caravan Park in Cambridgeshire. Cambridgeshire is notable for delightful villages, set in picturesque locations, and Hemingford Abbots situated adjoining the Great Ouse River, is no exception. Quiet Waters Caravan Park has a 4 star award and has been in the same family for over 70 years and is currently run by Linda Coulson, granddaughter of the first owner, and her husband Tony, who lives on the site along with their son and daughter. The quiet, peaceful spot occupies 5 acres by the banks of the Great Ouse, and in addition to touring caravans, motor homes and tents there are luxury caravans for hire (up to 6 births, with 2 separate bedrooms) with parking alongside. Four of these caravans overlook the river, the remaining have park views. There are excellent toilet and shower facilities and laundry room maintained to a very high standard.

Also Quiet Waters is a residential mobile home park, offering 32 retirement homes with all amenities. Reviews of Grafham Water Caravan Club Site , Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire Campsite. Nice site for a CS with nice wardens. But not my cup of tea with the layout, it is quite a small plot of land for the 'boasted' 69 pitches, and we found it quite tight manoeuvring on and off our pitch with the units that were opposite us, we felt like we were in a goldfish bowl being surrounded by the others, but that is our opinion as we do prefer the 5 van sites. All said though, if larger sites are for you, then this one is very nice, with a small swimming pool (sorry, but they were so over protective of the use of the pool) bit of a park for kids (no ball games) and everyone gets a key to the loo/showers for some strange reason.

Not good when I come out of the showers to find the wife hopping up & down outside the ladies as I had the key & she didn't, what's wrong with a keycode if they really need to keep the doors locked? One excellent thing was, the resident long eared owl living wild in the trees. So, not for us but others will enjoy the site. Rutland Caravan Camping and touring Park near Golf club - Events Page.
