Local Hero sailing past Bequia en-route for the Tobago Cays Day 1 February 23 rd Blue Lagoon Brian and I finally arrived at St Vincent airport (one shack) about 9pm local time after a long delay at Barbados. The others had already done a weeks cruising in the Grenadines so when we joined them after a short taxi ride the boat was already provisioned and fuelled up for the next cruise.
Indigo Dive is based on the main land of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The dive shop is located within Barefoot Yacht base on the shore of Blue Lagoon, Ratho Mill. Indigo Dive is owned and operated by Kay and Malcolm Wilson. It specializes in providing tailor made dive tours for small groups, and it is the only dive shop on the main land offering PADI certification courses from beginner (Discover Scuba / Open Water) to dive professional (Dive Master)level. Kay Wilson is a very keen amateur underwater photographer / videographer.

Grand Turk is the administrative and political capital of the Turks & Caicos Islands and Cockburn Town has been the seat of government since 1766. This small island is bursting with turn-of-the-century Caribbean charm. Founded by Bermudan Salt Rakers some three centuries ago, its Bermudan British colonial architecture amidst the colorful, Caribbean-style local dwellings make Grand Turk worth a visit. Donkeys, horses and cattle were the means of transportation during the salt industry, and these animals are seen still wondering the streets and countryside of Grand Turk.
