I’m interested in making computers easier to use and more human and helpful rather than strict and procedural. My main focus tends to be toward user interface, experience and interaction design and implementation. I write code in languages from C, Python, C++, Vala, C# with Qt, Gtk, Clutter, Cairo, Gstreamer or whatever libraries are available to achieve whatever goals I have. As one of the founding members of SMASHED, the Single Malt Appreciation Society for Hackers, Engineers and Designers, I’m well known for my sarcasm, and satirical political anarchism, I may tend to insult at times but it’s generally meant in good humour.
