Leather lunch tote. I don’t bring my lunch to work as often as I should.

And by that, I mean never. What if I had a cool lunch tote? It might not help, but at the very least, it’s a fun project to practice your hand sewing and to make something interesting. Comparte tus Ecoideas. Second Chance to Dream: How to Embellish a Tank. I was in Jo-Ann Fabrics yesterday and while I was there I ran across some t shirts and tanks 5/$10.

I also found some $6.00 embellishments on clearance for .97 and 1.97. My mind got to spinning and I thought, hmm... I could make a few tank tops for summer very inexpensively. So, I bought 3 tanks. And some embellishments This was a very easy process. The black zippered embellishment was an iron on art piece so that was easy. Turned it inside out and ironed it onto the shirt. And here is me wearing the shirt. I love it! For the other two shirts I did I had to add fusible tape to the back of the embellishment to get it to iron on and not have to sew. Turn over your embellishment and cut the tape in strips the size of the embellishment. Here are the other two shirts finished: And my brown one.

Puff nudo o pretzel con instrucciones (Knot Lounge)
: VCTRY's BLOG.

ArtEd- Faces, portraits. Paperclip inspiration... Sometimes you notice inspiration coming from the same ordinary object, I pick it up often when trend hunting but sometimes I just stumble upon it quite by accident.

Paperclip inspiration...

That seems to be the case with the humble paperclip. First came the Clip House, which was spotted in Inside Out magazine last year. The exterior of this home resembles a giant paperclip but in a good way [I think]. You can find the Clip House in Madrid and its interior is just as remarkable as its exterior. [images above via e-architect;architect - Javier Bernalte & Jose Luis Leon of Bernalte-Leon Architects] Then there is the paperclip lamp, quite a clever lamp and not bad looking either, you can bend this lamp just as you would a paperclip. I also love the idea of several of these oversized paperclip coat hooks hanging in the reception or lobby of an office, even being used as magazine holders. Stencils. Letters. Handbags I Love.
