Ashley's Scoop & Bake Cookie Dough

http://www.thedieline.com/blog/2012/7/16/ashleys-scoop-bake-cookie-dough.html This vegan cookie dough packaging is inviting and fun for all. "Ashley's Scoop & Bake Cookie Dough is crafted in small batches to ensure that you get a delicious treat every time! A lot of love and care goes into each recipe that Ashley creates. Plain and simple; Ashley's Scoop & Bake is on a mission to make outstanding vegan food accessible and fun for everyone. It was Riley Designs job to develop the branding personality and packaging for this fun, vegan brand."
"The Challenge: to create a range of tubs that cry out from the shelves to customers passing by whilst emphasising the traditional artisan gelato techniques captured in each package. Execution: We set about designing a set of premium looking packages each with it's own individual personality & presence. Using hand drawn fonts, patterns and a conversational tone, these tubs immediately invite you to rip off the lid and dig in." The Fox with the Golden Fur

http://www.thedieline.com/blog/2012/2/29/the-fox-with-the-golden-fur.html This design is so amazing. I love the interactive quality of making different landscapes & scenery with the placement of the chocolate bars. "Each year we start from scratch to create a fully original artwork that is both cultural snapshot and talent showcase. “The Fox With the Golden Fur”—a storybook and paper-cut shadowbox with illustrations on custom chocolate wrappers—sprang from popular culture’s latest romance with fantasy and fairy tale. The idea also meshed nicely with our interest in storytelling and simple elegance.
In general, the package designs that we see are boring and don’t stand out. That could be because the client doesn’t want something crazy and out of the box and the designer is afraid to propose something like that or doesn’t think about such a thing. However, some designers are really courageous and deliver extraordinary results like the ones presented in this article. Kleenex Doritos

A packing design can be bizarre, cool, creative, weird or unusual, but it just should be different. Even a product is not better than its competitors, it can still sell itself with a creative design.
