Naturelle et douce, elle est très décorative. Cela faisait longtemps que je voulais essayer de travailler la laine cardée, et comme je voulais réaliser un mobile pour mon bébé (ainsi qu’un autre objet déco, qui sera le sujet d’un prochain tutoriel), l’occasion était trouvée ! Comme à mon habitude quand j’essaie une nouvelle technique, j’ai tendance à me renseigner globalement et à faire mes propres expériences. Voici un petit condensé des techniques qui me semblent les plus appropriées, avec un petite astuce que j’ai trouvé pour réaliser des boules et autres formes de façon très économique. La laine cardée se travaille soit à l’aiguille (aiguille spécifique) soit à l’eau savonneuse, j’ai opté pour commencer par la technique demandant le moins de matériel et qui semblait en plus être particulièrement adaptée aux formes que j’avais en tête; c’est à dire la technique à l’eau savonneuse. I've got news.....BIG news. I'm back for good because... I've only gone and quit the day job. This means its Heartfelt all the way and quite possibly a weekly blog post, a smattering more of tweets, endless pinning on pinterest and much more action on facebook too (if fb deems my posts important enough to show in your news feed that is). It's such a fab feeling to be back, I only started the day job 17 months ago but it slowed down Heartfelt enough for me to feel that the crafty world was passing me by and left me with rather embarrassing turn around times on orders, thank gawd you lot are so darn patient. The very clever and super lovely Angie from Artwork by Angie has designed my re-branding and my Etsy and Folksy shops will soon have items in them again, once I've caught up on my existing orders this week of course.

As many of you may have known that I just moved in to my new home and I still have plenty to work on for the home decor.
