Jeg lokker med Saueren i skuddklar possisjon med Versamaxen liggende ved siden av meg ladet med firer haggel i kaliber 12/89. Som jeg har opplevd tidligere kom det er rev skrått bakfra i full fart etter kort tid og jeg fikk det travelt med å få fatt i hagla og få den på kornet.

Roger, living in Sydney, is the Senior Editor for Technology at Backpacking Light.com and also an editor of BackpackGeartest.org. Roger started walking in the Boy Scouts and, like myself, started going "lightweight" as he got older - around 2000. Efter vores 5 dages vandretur tog vi busse fra Landmannarlaugar til Skaftafell, hvor vi havde booket en tur til toppen af Hvannadalshnukur med Glacier Guides. Mod toppen af Hvannadalshnukur. Efter 8 anstrengende dag i naturen, afsluttede vi med en dag i Reykjavik, og en tur i den blå lagune inden vi fløj hjem.

The trip was inspired by a few photos I saw in glossy outdoor magazines — the terrain just looked other-worldly — and by rave remarks by a respected adviser.
