Twee voormalige HTC-topmannen komen met smartphonemerk Kazam. Dinsdag, 18 juni 2013 (08:50) | Gijs Ettes Twee ex-bestuurders van HTC komen met hun eigen smartphonemerk dat zij Kazam noemen.
Het gaat hierbij om Michael Coombes, die voorheen de leiding had over HTC’s verkoopafdeling, en James Atkins, het voormalige hoofd van de Britse marketingafdeling. De twee voormalige HTC-bestuurders maakten hun plannen dinsdag bekend via een persbericht. Kazam gaat zich volgens het persbericht vooral richten op lokale markten, zodat het adequaat kan reageren op de snel veranderende wensen van consumenten. “Er liggen voor nieuwe smartphonemerken momenteel echte mogelijkheden om de huidige status quo aan te vallen”, zegt James Atkins over de plannen. Deze betere ervaring willen zij bewerkstelligen door het ‘strakke design, de robuuste hardware en intuïtieve technologie’ van hun toestellen te ondersteunen met onderscheidende klantondersteuning.
