Studio Banana TV interviews Juan Herreros | Studio Banana TV. Studio Banana TV interviews , a world-famous Spanish architect. For 25 years he was part of the renowned studio Ábalos & Herreros until its split up in 2008. Ábalos&Herreros are authors of late 20 th century Spanish architecture masterpieces such as the Gordillo House, the Valdemingomez waste-treatment centre in Madrid, the library in Usera or the Woerman tower in Las Palmas. In 2009 Herreros arquitectos won the international competition for the new Munch/Steneresen Museum in Oslo, Norway. Herreros Arqitectos is a collaborative practice where the process of design is a continuous conversation between all the agents that contribute to the complexity of building. Its internal structure is divided into four areas: projects & competitions, media & communication, research & development, and on-site management. Juan Herreros teaches at the ETSAM school in Madrid and at Columbia University in New York.
