I think I'll let the videos do the teaching, and wait for questions to come in - then, as they do, I will update this post and address them rather than try to guess at what I've left out - because I'm sure I've left some stuff out!! Part I goes over applying joint compound, or wall spackle, to your book board covers. Part II is the finishing of the spackle.
Part III is the creation of the interior board pages, which are paper maché. Part IV, the final video is the actual binding process. Introduction The size and durability of the Moleskine Pocket notebook is perfect for my sketching needs, but the paper is not ideal. Although both “sketchbook” and “watercolor” versions are available, neither is well-suited to my particular requirements. And so, I have developed a process for replacing the paper (aka Moleskine Reloaded) while retaining all the other wonderful attributes of the Moleskine. Сделать такой перплёт совсем не сложно, а при определенной доли аккуратности у Вас получится красивая косичка, напоминающая вязанную крючком цепочку. Для работы понадобится:бумага для страниц (любая, какую Вы сочтете нужной) нитки с иголкой (я предпочитаю работать гобеленовой иглой с тупым кончиком) булавка (если у Вас острая швейная игла, то можно обойтись без булавки) клей (если у Вас есть ПВА производстав завода Луч, то берите его, если нет - то другой надёжный клей для работы с бумагой) кисть для клеяподложка (резиновый коврик, подойдёт также просто кусок рыхлого картона, из которого обычно делают коробки) Сначала небходимо подготовить будущие страницы. Для этого из сложенных вдвое листов делаем тетради для будущей книжки: 1 тетрадь состоит из трех сложенных вдвое листов.
