Humanitarian Development Officer. Permanent Contract Based in Oxford Salary: £32,973 Oxfam is an International confederation of 14 independent, non-governmental organizations working together with over 3,000 partners in 99 countries to achieve our vision of ‘a just world without poverty’. Our Secretariat is based in Oxford, with advocacy offices in Washington DC, New York, Brussels and Geneva. This is a key role in supporting the confederation’s 14 affiliates to ensure the maximum impact of Oxfam International’s humanitarian responses. You will do this by working with affiliates to support and facilitate the development of their Humanitarian capacities and ensure their compliance with Oxfam’s humanitarian standards.
Oxfam wants to excel in two core competencies, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Emergency Food Security and Vulnerable Livelihoods (EFSVL).
