Often these systems feature a turbine air supply (think vacuum cleaner running in reverse), but so-called conversion gun systems featuring a compressor are also found. We designed our own units which have done thousands of sunless Tans. We find the best atomization/ least overspray to be at 108CFM @ 3PSI.
