Quote. Fancy Pack Unofficial update. Sunkisses2010, on 09 June 2011 - 10:14 PM, said: I'm sorry but it's still saying that same error no matter what. It's like it will only read that block id. I'm sorry nothing helped You could try deleting all the fancypack props file and let it get recreated with the default values. PiByNumbers, on 09 June 2011 - 10:51 PM, said: First off, thanks so much for updating this! It's really appreciated. Secondly, there's a bit of a problem. Edit: the fancypack folder with the images IS in the .jar directory. When using TooManyItems, some of the blocks don't have icons. Cheesepolice, on 09 June 2011 - 11:15 PM, said: Is this compatible with toomanyitems and zombe's mods? TooManyItems: yes. Misterchuckles, on 10 June 2011 - 01:12 AM, said: Most of the recipes don't work.

This has been fixed. Airship. Ruins. New enhanced version and further updates here (by AtomicStryker): This is an updated version of d00dv4d3r's Ruins v6 mod! I'm adjusting the code to make it work with new versions of minecraft. All credits goes to d00dv4d3r for the creation of this mod. Basic info: For those who don't know the mod, what it does, is spreading out buildings around the world, defined by user made templates (yes you can make your own, instructions included in the mod).

You can change spawn density in the options file. All explained in the readme and on the original thread. It also comes with a set of ruin templates made by d00dv4d3r. The original thread can be found here: You can find a lot more info and user made templates there. Requirements: Risugami's Modloader: Known Bugs: -There is a new option in v6 for templates that makes them unique (they only spawn once per world). 1.0.0 Same as 1.8.. Quote. OptiFog and Optimine (FPS Boost) HD Textures Minecraft 1.5 and above comes with general support for HD textures. OptiFine fixes many bugs, adds support for new features and fixes the performance of larger texture packs.

Custom Animations Minecraft 1.5 and above supports animations for blocks and items (info). OptiFine additionally enables the animation of all other textures. To create a custom animation for any texture in the game create a ".properties" file in the anim/ folder of your texture pack. In it, supply the source and destination texture, along with coordinates of the area you wish to animate.

From=/anim/mypainting.pngto=/art/kz.pngx=0y=0w=16h=16 - "from" is the location of the custom animation. - "to" is the texture you wish to animate. - "x, y, w, h" are the coordinates of the rectangular area of the destination texture. The source texture should be a vertical strip of separate frames. Each custom animation may specify its animation speed and frame order. tile.X=Yduration.X=Z width. palette.block. palette.block.

OptiTick. Download OptiTick 1.0.1 (same url/filename) *What is this? * OptiTick is a quick optimization of one critical part of the World.tick method on the client. In short, this avoids creating Integer and ChunkCoordIntPair objects where they were most common. In greater detail, this uses a subset of the "fastutil" Java library to avoid object creation and get a good speed improvement. It replaces HashMap<Integer,Object> with Int2ObjectOpenHashMap<Object> and HashSet<Integer> with IntOpenHashSet. *How do I use it? Otherwise follow directions for some of the other fantastic mods out there. *What other mods? *What kind of performance change might I get? Anecdotally OptiFine + OptiTick has made MC a painless experience for me on my travel laptop. *When I connect to my server XYZ happens* You will not see any benefit from using this patch and connecting to a server. *I get conflicts! The relative importance of classes I changed: fd.class ***** ok.class *** cg.class * Fastutil uses the Apache-2.0 license.

Sound Dampening Mod (SDM) Pyho, on 02 June 2011 - 01:46 AM, said: Pretty amazing mod. One thing, though. Shouldn't bookshelves have a higher sound dampening value? Bookshelves typically dampen a good amount of noise in real life (Well, full ones, anyway...), what with all those stacks of paper on them. I'm glad you like it! Lubey, on 02 June 2011 - 02:52 AM, said: Really, really, really like this idea. Are you just mentioning thunder as an example or are you experiencing this in-game? Crysune, on 02 June 2011 - 03:17 AM, said: You should make it so that when you are in a cave or such, the sounds echo, that would add a lot to minecraft.

I plan to do this as soon as I can find a way that doesn't involve creating a new echo'd version of each sound file. Duo_decimal, on 02 June 2011 - 05:00 AM, said: So, I installed the mod and promptly forgot about it because a friend came by. Put simply: Pure grade A awesome stuff. I'm glad you're enjoying it. I really appreciate everyone's feedback!
