Update, here is a video from the Fender booth at NAMM 2011: And another from Premier Guitar: NAMM 2011: Grosh Guitars announce the Sunset ‘79. Sunset ’79. The Sunset '79 epitomizes the late 70s/early 80s southern California hard rock scene with tone and playability that only Grosh can deliver. With a one piece maple neck, dual Grosh humbuckers mounted directly to the body, and rear-routed electronics, the '79 is aggressive and focused. The Grosh-original body design lends a look and sonic signature that is familiar yet all its own. The default neck is a new modified "D" back shape developed specifically for this guitar by Don Grosh. Finally, this is the first Grosh to be designed from the ground up with a Floyd Rose tremolo. NAMM 2011: Chris Broderick to unveil Jackson Signature guitar. Yes you read that right, Chris Broderick is no longer endorsed by Ibanez guitars because in his words “Let's just say that the events that occurred with them this last year left me feeling like my guitar company wasn't any where near as loyal to me as I was to them”.

Well Ibanez’s loss is Jackson’s gain, it seems Jackson Guitars were wiling to go the extra mile and I think that was a very wise marketing decision. This is what Chris wrote on his blog: Jackson by leaps and bounds stepped up and was able to build a guitar that is nothing less then my perfect guitar. I spent countless design hours on it. With a double neck that I built when I was 17 being the basis for the guitar, and with Mike Shannon behind the tools, I think you guys will be impressed. There will be a press release soon enough and tons of pics and vids in the coming weeks. UPDATE: More info from the Jackson website.
