Know your shirt fabric patterns. Shirt Pattern List Many variations of the major patterns exist as designers are constantly trying to come up with new and different styles.
Shirt patterns are often enhanced or can be a combination of different patterns. These are the classic pattern choices. Gingham- Gingham usually comes in a checkered pattern and is distinguished by white and colored, even-sized checks. This pattern is formed by horizontal and vertical stripes (usually of the same color) that cross each other on a white background to form even checks. Madras- Madras is a pattern that originated in a city in East India, formerly named Madras. Tartan Plaid- Tartan plaid is the pattern that is most often found on Scottish kilts.

To help English speakers from all over the world better communicate, the US State Department created these useful illustrations that highlight key differences between British and American English. English originated as early as the mid-5th century, and has since been brought to a number of countries. Over the years many changes and adaptations have taken place, creating unique discrepancies in the English language all around the world. In the world of advertising, most campaign posters are designed to be read easily by anyone from a distance and at close range.
What marks graphic designer Daniel Britton’s font as distinct is that, when formed into complete sentences, the words are a challenge to read in order to emulate exactly how frustrating dyslexia can be. Believing dyslexia to be misunderstood and under-researched, Britton designed the font and these images in his final year at university to raise awareness of the condition. Britton broke down each letter into its component parts and removed sections to make the letter harder to recognize immediately. A little girl in Taiwan was homesick on her first day of preschool, but her friend was the perfect gentleman, promising to comfort her, protect her and even nap next to her.
