ACTA uitgelegd door Anonymous. Wat is het verschil tussen ACTA en SOPA en PIPA? SOPA/PIPA are the same thing , one is the bill in House the other one is Senate. SOPA/PIPA would allow government and internet service providers you restrict your access to many websites that are believed to violate US copyright law thus putting us next to countries like China,Saudi Arabia,Iran,Syria who restrict freedom or internet in their countries too. SOPA/PIPA would force ISPs to stop using DNSSEC security technique that is largerly reponsible for our secure DNS connections.if that happened then hackers could have easily hijacked many domain names.This would cause a big chaos.....BIGGG CHAOS Fortunately SOPA/PIPA were shelved which means they will not pass in near future(few years) but the ACTA treaty has already passed and it was approved by Obama administration.ACTA is not a bill like SOPA/PIPA.

Het verdrag is echter zo’n ontzettend lang en ingewikkeld document, dat het bijna onmogelijk is om voor jezelf vast te stellen of het nu een goed of een slecht verdrag is. Het blijkt dat er een simpele manier is om dat te toetsen. De eenvoudigste manier om de kern van het ACTA-verdrag te doorgronden ligt niet in het document zelf, maar in het handelen van de voorstanders.
Iedereen die zich inzet om dit verdrag er zo snel en geruisloos mogelijk door te duwen, houdt bij hoog en laag vol dat ACTA niets zal veranderen en dat er, op enkele kleine aanpassingen na, geen wetten veranderd zullen worden. Al met al wordt de indruk gewekt dat ACTA eigenlijk helemaal niets bijzonders is. Terwijl de voorstanders volhouden dat er niets zal veranderen, ontketenen ze tegelijkertijd een ongekend offensief om dit verdrag erdoor te drukken. Als ACTA écht niets zal veranderen, waarom dan dit ongekende offensief om het erdoor te duwen? ACTA in strijdt met grondrechten van de mens... ACTA tegen internetvrijheid.
