GEMIS. IINAS ist die Heimat von GEMIS (Globales Emissions-Modell integrierter Systeme), einem frei verfügbaren Lebensweg- und Stoffstromanalyse-Modell mit integrierter Datenbank für Energie-, Stoff- und Verkehrssysteme.
IINAS bietet GEMIS kostenlos zum download an. GEMIS entstand in der ersten Version in 1989 und wird seit dem kontinuierlich aktualisiert und erweitert. Es wird in über 30 Ländern zur Umwelt- und Kostenanalyse von Energie-, Stoff- und Verkehrssystemen verwendet. Mehr Informationen zu GEMIS finden sich hier. IINAS kooperiert zudem mit dem Umweltbundesamt im Vorhaben ProBas, das umfangreiche Lebenswegdaten u.a. aus GEMIS in einem web-basierten Werkzeug anbietet, ohne weitere Software zu erfordern.
