In theory, if symptoms of adult attention deficit disorder are caused by anxiety, it need not be stipulated that the condition be classified as ADD. Actually there has not been enough research on ruling out anxiety. Imagination plays havoc with a person’s brain, it is better to check out the facts rather than let your imagination run wild and lead yourself to anxiety.

Use these tips to set up systems to organize your household, discipline your children, support your kids in school , and just keep things under control. Organize the Household Write everything down. Anything that might be forgotten or overlooked by any member of the family -- phone messages, to-do lists , appointments -- should be written down.
Many clients who come to me are in transition or are in the process of doing something quite new, and they bring along their various worries. The old “Not to worry...things will be just fine” doesn’t cut it. They need more than my reassurance that hard work and patience will pay off, and that their negative thinking is not necessary.
