The line now includes four units which between them offer a broad range of different lens and sensor configurations. Now, the company is branching out a bit with the announcement of an expansion unit that will give users the freedom to use different lenses. The new GXR Lens Mount Unit is scheduled for Q3 availability and will feature an APS-C size (23.6 x 15.7mm), 12.9 megapixel CMOS sensor and a newly-developed focal plane shutter – but it's the lens mount part of the module that's the most interesting feature.
