(Correction: It was eventually produced and released as the nineteenth episode of The New Adventures of Batman; the follow up series to Batman: The Animated Series. The source of the images claimed it was never made, not as a part of the original Animated Series anyway… and I just assumed it was never produced) Legends of the Dark Knight was a story Timm had come up with which involved two kids arguing over what kind of character Batman was.
