The challenges are technical, sociological, and political; but the potential for innovation that exists in this space comes along very rarely. Por ejemplo, en la blogocosa no está muy bien visto hablar y hacer autobombo de empresas en las cuales tienes relación a menos que la relación esté meridianamente clara desde el principio, o que se pongan los disclaimers correspondientes.
Años atrás hubo casos de bloggers que hablaban bien de productos o empresas sin esas aclaraciones –no obligatorias pero éticas– y las críticas fueron feroces. Así es que se ha convertido en caso una regla fundamental. Aunque el blogger en cuestión cumpla esta “regla ética” le lloverán las críticas –vía otros blogs o en los mismos comentarios– si su apunte tiene la mínima apariencia de publicidad encubierta o la crítica es inexistente.
