Im November erschienen: Projekt Gutenberg-DE Edition 12 Die Editon 12 enthält mehr als 6.000 Werke von über 1200 Autoren – die größte elektronische Sammlung Deutschsprachiger Literatur. Seit Erscheinen der vorigen Ausgabe ist der Bestand um über 1000 Werke vermehrt worden, der Preis bleibt unverändert. Die jetzt erscheinende Edition 12 hat den Stand der Online-Präsentation von Oktober 2011 und enthält die Werke von Sigmund Freud, Joseph Roth, Ernst Weiß und vielen anderen neu hinzugekommenen Autoren. Über die Werke von Gottfried Keller läßt Hugo von Hofmannsthal einen Maler sagen: »... So erklärt sich's doch einigermaßen, daß diese Bücher ihre schönste Wirkung, eine seelenhafte Freiheit und Heiterkeit, gar nicht in den Kopf ausstrahlen, sondern wirklich direkt ins Blut, so daß sie einem im Leben weiterhelfen und das nächste leichter machen, was man wirklich selbst von Goethe kaum sagen kann
