I drew the type by hand, scanned it, redrew it in Illustrator and then made it from pin and string. Hundreds and hundreds of metres of string! I could do Anything … This piece is for a second book inspired by Stefan Sagmeister’s “Things I Have Learned in My Life” project where myself and 22 collaborators wrote three phrases or sentences and illustrated them typographically.
This is part of a two-page book project. On the left it says “I could do Anything …” and then for the second part, I unwound “I could do anything” and then re-nailed and wound “If only I could decide what it was” to show the pain of how creative people chop and change their minds all the time.
