After a competitive tender, Aveiro’s Council chose Multi Development to redevelop the city centre. The development of Forum Aveiro transformed the area and has directly led to other buildings in the city being upgraded. Ever since its spectacular opening ceremony, Forum Aveiro has brought new life to the city. The concept of Forum Aveiro was based on the connection between the historic centre of the town and the expansion zone to the north of the Cojo canal. The design is based on the concept of a hanging garden with special attention paid to the creation of green areas.
