There are quite a few things that annoy me. That's part of the reason I put the title "Hate" in my blog. Well the main reason actually. Most of the stuff I hate comes from dumb ass people.

After going on my first cruise, my first experiece out of the country, my first real vacation in ages, how on earth could a-little-over-a-week-into June be that much better? Well, for one thing, I got to see my favorite band, The Legendary Roots Crew , live again. This time was a little different from the others.

Over the past few months, I have made it my business to become more involved with my local NABJ chapter. I am on the executive board for the chapter at my school and I regularly attend events and meetings hosted by the professionals. I have never left an AABJ event dissatisfied and I always encourage other students to come.

Check out this CBS piece on Grammy-winner 9th Wonder and Duke Professor Mark Anthony Neal . I’m so proud of what these two have accomplished. They are an inspiration for artists/academicians in general, and for Durhamites/North Carolinians in particular. Shine on, brothers.
