As a lad Ramin Younessi spent many hours helping his father in the family repair shop elbow-deep in German grease, so of course his initial fascination revolved around those drivers' cars. When he reached high school and college, Ramin continued his love affair with European cars and motorcycles, but amid the swirling tarn of teenage testosterone he was quickly becoming more and more fascinated by the imposing presence and power of musclecars. Eventually he caved and picked up a nitrous-fed '77 Trans Am, and immediately realized what he'd been missing. The TA was everything his German toys weren't: loud, crude, lowbrow-and a ton of fun. But despite piloting cars touted as "ultimate driving machines," as time passed Ramin found himself craving the primal thrill the Trans Am had provided.
