Posted on March 4, 2010 by saya In my humble opinion, the design seems like a terrible idea, resulting needless complexity since the piano may get wet if you carelessly pour water on the table… Of course, you won’t agree with me, if you’re just in the necessity to place a bulky piano inside your small department.

How to Design the Perfect Business Card. In this post, we’ll discuss how a thoughtful, well-designed business card can help your company give a good first impression and send the right message. We’ll look at elements to include in your design and the different approaches to take. We often hear of the importance of first impressions in both our professional and personal lives. In business, the first impression we make on potential clients and other professionals can affect how much business we get.

If we fail to dazzle in the first meeting, we might not be attending the follow-up meeting in which we could raise the bar. He was asked to participate in the “Designer Challenge” for the October issue of Computer Arts Projects and was tasked to put a new spin on traditional business cards.

So his idea was to pare down a card to the absolute essentials: name, website and possibly a stylized bear illustration, and print it in a unique way. I was really intrigued by this so I did some research and found a few places that will make fairly affordable, custom inspection stamps, in case anyone is inclined to try this out: 1) Fivestar Rubber Stamp 2) Stamp-Connection 3) Des Moines Stamp Manufacturing (via Mikey Burton)
