Dans quelques heures devraient débuter l'opération de libération de quatre militaires et six policiers colombiens aux mains des FARC-EP (Forces armées révolutionnaires de Colombie – Armée du peuple). Certains d'entre eux sont détenus depuis plus de quatorze ans. Durant les premiers mois de 2012, nos délégués ont facilité la libération de 11 civils qui étaient aux mains de l’Armée de libération nationale (Ejército de Liberación Nacional – ELN), dans le département d’Arauca, et d’un membre de la police qui était retenu par les FARC-EP, dans le département de Cauca. Ces libérations ont eu lieu à la demande directe des groupes armés ainsi que des familles des personnes retenues.
