I scaled the pattern down to fit an 18 inch doll, made Samantha’s dress, and promptly forgot about the doll-sized pattern. Last week I was going through some files and came across the pattern again. You probably have large enough pieces of fabric in your scrap basket to make this dress, it is tiny. Because of its small size it must be sewn by hand, but that's my favorite way to make doll clothes, anyway. You'll also want to make sure your fabric is pressed neatly before you pin and cut it out. The pattern is done on a 5/8 inch grid. I know that's an odd size but I tried it first with a 1/2 inch grid and it needed to be a little bit bigger. Dress to Fit 15 to 18 inch Cloth Dolls.
