El director general de Protección Civil Miranda, Victor Lira, declaró que en el “incendio de mediana magnitud” no hubo ningún lesionado. Las causas del incendio, según Protección Civil, fueron debido a la explosión de un transformador de Corpoelec , que dejó sin luz a los vecinos de Los Palos Grandes. “Se apagó el transformador que generó una columna de humo de mediana magnitud, se sofocó el conato de incendio” explicó Johan Prieto, encargado de Protección Civil Chacao. Los bomberos se encuentran realizando labores de refrescamiento frente a la Torre Letonia.
