A wireframe kit for Google Drawings and 5 reasons it beats Omnigraffle and Visio - Morten Just. I’ve been playing around with the newest addition to Google Docs, Google Drawings, and I’m quite liking it. Kind of blue. Framing the Problem. Bryan Eisenberg | November 1, 2002 | 0 Comments inShare0 Wireframes: why you need one, how to build one, and, once and for all, why a wireframe is not a storyboard. We last examined uncovery, the first, most critical phase of the Minerva Architectural Process (MAP). Let's move on to phase two, wireframing. Wireframing is a simple, nontechnical process. Wireframing saves a lot of time and money. People confuse wireframing with storyboarding. Wireframing puts something in front of decision makers not to excite them visually but to elicit a reaction. March 16, 2009 When 45royale first started, there’s no question we had a few bad habits. You see, way back in the day when we would get a new project, discuss the requirements with our client, maybe sketch out a few quick ideas, and then jump right into full color Photoshop comps. After a while we came to realize that we were spending way too much time on revisions and the revisions that we were making were far more complex. Wireframing plays an important role in Information Architecture Certain requirements and concepts can seem like great ideas during initial project calls, but things can quickly fall apart when you start laying them out on paper.
