First, we've validated over 12,000 sites since this site's inception. Since this movement propagates mostly through word-of-blog and online chatter of folks like yourself, that's quite a number. No-www thanks you for your help in spreading the word. It's been a while since the last update, but we've been far from absent. Behind the scenes, no-www has been frequently discussing no-www philosophy with many interested visitors.
Carthik ‘s WordPress-related site, WordLog , has been banned from Google since its inception in 2004. And nobody can figure out why. Google’s support department apparently always responds back saying the site is part of a spam link farm, but there is no such thing there, and according to Carthik, never has been. Yet Google continues to fail to list anything at wordlog.com in its index. Exhausting other options, one person commented that using www. in the URI might help.
Together we, the people of the Internet, must fight to save our most beloved Internet prefix, 'www'. Yes, despite the years of humble and gracious service that these three simple letters have given us, there are those among us who wish to remove them from the WORLD WIDE WEB entirely. To save 'www', we must not only refuse to remove our 'www's, but add extra 'www's to serve as a symbol that we will not be intimidated. So please, support our 'www's by redirecting your base domain names to www.www. versions, and together we can keep 'www' alive! Like no-www.org, we have a www.www.extra-www classification system: To validate your site's classification, go to the www.www.extra-www.org validator Have a blog?
